ok, the discrepancy is odd. Not sure if it is due to an uneven reset or more noise in the wiring.
In system wide checks redo the baseline for the SYNC error counters and keep an eye on it.

Maybe a power cycle will bring all the SYNC received counters into line.

Certainly they should be exactly the same.

Is there any correlation between the ones that are wrong and the MACB layout/cabling ?
