Selecting SETUP (Run Control tab) or Perform Timestamp Resync (AIDA Control tab) produces error message - see
attachment 1

Selecting Perform Resync (AIDA Master Timestamp Control) works OK
Entry  Mon May 13 10:13:26 2019, TD, AIDA with 25MHz external clock does not work ... ! 2.png
OH setup AIDA external clock using Tektronix AFG3102 - settings as follows

CH1 ON - amplitude +5V, phase 0n deg, offset 0V, frequency 50.000000MHz

JA setup DTAS/BigRIPS clock using Tektronix AFG3102 - settings as follows

CH2 ON - amplitude -0.8V, phase 0n deg, offset 0V, frequency 25.000000MHz

Unfortunately the AGF3102 was set to CH1 frequency = CH2 frequency and this changed the AIDA external
clock frequency from 50MHz to 25MHz.

This stopped the DAQ. Interestingly it was possible to Resync successfully and *all* system wide
checks were OK *except* Check Clock Status which produced errors - see attachment 1.

CH1 & CH2 now set to 50MHz and 25MHz respectively.

AIDA DAQ now running OK.

Entry  Mon May 27 08:29:02 2019, TD, AIDA position within DTAS
AA informs me that the *centre* of the DTAS detector system is 26.7cm downstream
of the upstream edge of the upstream DTAS NaI(Tl) detectors.

The 6x DSSSDs are currently positioned per the 8x DSSSD setup of June 2018, i.e.
the 6x DSSSDs are in positions 3-8 (as indicated on the AIDA snout).

Detectors #4 & #5 are centred ~9cm from upstream edge of AIDA snout.

This means that the upstream edge of the AIDA snout should be 26.7-9=17.7cm
from the upstream edge of the upstream DTAS NaI(Tl) detectors.
