At 19:10 Frank called us that vacuum in sections 08 and 10 got worse by about 1.5 times. There is a possible danger that vacuum valves can get closed if rest gas pressure is above the set treshhold.
Nikos warmed the cryostat by 0.5 degrees from 129.0 K to 129.5 K and the pressure became better than before. We cooled the system in steps of 0.1 degress down to 129.1 K and again observed the pressure rise.
We think we can stay with the present conditions. However, the pressure shall be monitored not to hit the treshhold. |

A target temperature walkthrough has been initiated at 20:41 since the target density at S1 had slightly decreased (with ~0.1-0.2)
Current temprature 116K
set to 126K at 20:41
set to 95K at 20:47:30
set to 108.5K at 21:01:30, at this temperature was a sweetspot observerd for target density.
set to 109.7 at 21:08:30
set to 110K at 21:13:30 - we keep at this value for a while. the values at S1 are changing between 2.2-2.9e-8 |

We have mosty empty injections into CRYRING. Only sporadically the beam with good intensity is injected.

15:15: Checks all ok, peaks are peaky (attatchment 8)
16:45 Checks all ok.
17:45 Checks all ok. IMP Froze and has been restarted. Peaks good. Light turned off iin cave.
18:40: Checks all ok. Target great at 1e13.
22:20 Checks done - all okay except aida green-to-red was not working, but still writing data to disk. Carlo trying to figure it out now. All other checks were okay. Daedalus crashed, restarted and target still at 1e13. |

We start a new run with real data taking condititon: beam is ok, target density is 5e11 cm-2, detectors are moving in-out periodically.
Cooler voltage setpoint 1128.55 V.
Beam energy = 1.99 MeV/u (from HKR)

Left arm at 18.86 mm
Right arm IN at 83.69 mm (OUT 37.56 mm)
vertical beam position 0.0 mm
horizontal beam position -3.5mm
Beam intensity ~2e+7 particles.
Target density ~5e11 at/cm2
Target temperatures: T1=31.5 K T2=35.1 K
Beam cycle set to 10 seconds.

17:35 target density jumped to at 9e11
19:30 all checks OK (spectra attached)
19:45 target density drops to 3.5E11
20:20 target density jumps to 7e11

The current logger did crash in the evening of 25.02. and stopped logging since then, it seems.
I restarted it now (28.02. 8:30).
Seems to run stable for now.
