RIKEN tubes on the AIDA side with the SHV right angle connector will protrude
by ~95mm in the HYBRID configuration (with CLOVERS). 
In the current AIDA DSSD configuration there are six detectors occupying 45-50mm 
at a distance to center of the stack from the black plastic support of ~430mm.
The hole for the CLOVER is 110mm. The center of the hole is at 375mm from the
PE end. 
This means that the center of the current stack is only ~15mm beyond the PE
in the CLOVER hole, so 1 or 2 of the DSSD will be partially shadowed
from the CLOVER detectors. 
(This do not represent any problem from the neutron detector point of view)

We started the assembly of BRIKEN and AIDA detectors in their final position
on Tuesday October 4:

Gabor Kiss, Phong Vi, Keishi Matsui, Shunji Nishimura, Shigeru Kubono, PA,
Chris Griffin, Tom Davinson, Nathan Brewster, Shintaro Go, Daniel Stracener,
Ariel Tarifeno, Jorge Agramunt, Alvaro Tolosa, Jose L Tain

Tubes were removed from BRIKEN. PE matrix lifted with crane.
Table rotated and placed in the final position (front wheels 
between forward EURICA rails) by hand. Table leveled (height, angle)
with the help of laser. PE matrix placed back.
AIDA rotated and adjusted to BRIKEN by hand.

Configuration of BRIKEN DACQ hardware:
Detector->VME->ADC->Channel

New configuration:
Ancillaries are moved to crate #2: V2A8 (SIS3316)
YSO is on crate #1: V1A7 (SIS3316)
V2A4 (SIS3302) failed and was replaced wit spare unit (Chan #5 missing)

Ancillaries are reduced to F11 Plastic (Right and Left, Direct and Attenuated)
and AIDA Plastic veto. The 10Hz pulser signal is also fed to this ADC (Dead Time Pulser).

YSO provides 5 signals: xa, xb, ya, yb and dynode.
Each signal is splitted. One branch of xa,xb,ya,yb is amplified
the other goes directly (but it might be eventually attenuated).

252Cf source in the (approximately) center
Wasabi and D4 clover inserted. G7 on the floor.
YSO on the box with light pulser.

The source was plug in a Styrofoam piece at the right height
so that it could be centered longitudinally with the D4 Clover
and transversely with the Wasabi nose.
Possible position difference with previous efficiency
measurements using the cardboard source holder
should not impact the efficiency obtained.

Observations:
1. The noise in 3He tubes has been effectively suppresed 
(compare figure of BRIKEN spectrum in attachment with similar
figures of previous runs)
2. The 252 Cf source used immediately before has activated
something as can be deduced from the change of rate
in the D4 detector compared to G7 (standing on the floor)
see picture below. The effective half-life of the activation is
T1/2=71.8min

Attached screenshots of raw data for every digitizer. 

The problem of some of the PA is visible in the background
spectra. 

In addition one can see in some of the channels signals
distributed over all the region up to the pulser and beyond.
This we found to be related to a too low threshold
but can be eliminated with a better adjustment.
