Attached are the plots from MC simulations of the energies the detected particles are to have, with the top plot showing the dE-E plot and the bottom
plot showing the total energy of the particles.

Please note the height of the peaks is not indicative of the counts expected and there is a low proton background expected between the entrance

Entry  Thu Nov 8 10:01:32 2018, CBH, DK, New Struts Installation 8x
Struts arrived and were installed on Wednesday. The holes on one side of each of the struts to connect the wheels to were slightly too wide (11.5
cm vs 10.5 cm).
We've taken away part of the wheel holders and now they seem to be fitting in.
Entry  Wed Nov 7 14:27:45 2018, CBH, DK, Beam Plan for Miguel and Alberto (ISOLDE beam operators)

  Dec 5-6: Shutdowns and important
tests are planned by ISOLDE team
Dec 7th - power gets shut off to ISOLDE
