      A reload of the run control tab sees them all as going still, but only 20% are reporting any SYNC output in the stats page.
      All FEEs have failed the SYNC errors since baseline check and the values reported by the SYNC pulses received tests vary
      by +- 3 of a central value.

      The merger and tape server were not set up before this run and are not currently running.

Added two checks to the System wide checks. Modified the Firmware so the checks work properly. One check reads the status of the FEE64 clocks and checks against expected value. The other check reads the value from all the FEE64 Sync Error Counters, pauses for one second, then reads them again and compares with the first reading. Any change is reported as an error. The Sync Error counter is incremented if the SYNC pulse arrives at a FEE64 when the Timestamp counter in the FEE64 is not at the correct value.

I have changed the T9 system to be using Version 8.

Tests using the detector and pulser seem to be ok.

Transmission to the Merge and Merging operating ok

Shaping time 8uS and threshold 64.

Note:-

The Leading Edge Discriminator has changed in Version 8 and is a true implementation of a Leading Edge Discriminator. With hysteresis which requires the input signal to go below the threshold before allowing another trigger.

The Delay setting on the LED web page is removed.

The LED web page is aware of the version being used ( shown at the top of the page ) as the Threshold for the LED is an ADC value ( 0 to 16383 ) rather than a difference from the current baseline.

For a positive waveform where the baseline is expected to be about 8192 a value of 9000 will potentially give a trigger.

For a negative waveform where the baseline is expected to be about 8192 a value of 7000 will potentially give a trigger.

T9 test setup at Daresbury was powered up and noise levels were checked using a pulser peak.

A 1V peak was used. For most channels this corresponded to a peak position at around +-11000 from the zero point at 9000.

An example of this is shown in attachment 1 showing the peak in nnaider 11, ASIC 4, ADC 11.

It was also observed that for both nnaider 11 and 12 (FEE modules corresponding to negative signals) that channels 2, 56 and 59 were not contributing to the rate. See attachment 2.

Upon investigating the missing channels ADC spectra the only apparent issue appeared in nnaida 11 ASIC 4, ADC 8. Which is plot 4.7.L. Here we see the peak much higher coming in at around channel 63000. See attachment 3.
The remaining missing channels in the rate plot appear to have normal amplitudes with maybe slightly higher noise. FWHM of ~60 as oppposed to ~18. Discussed more below.

Also done was a noise measurement across the all the ASICs. To do this an ADC was chosen belonging to each of the ASICs and the pulser peak location and FWHM was recorded. The reaults are as shown below.

It was seen that the noise was fairly low which is to be expected as there were no dtectors connected and only a short length of kapton cables connected to the board.
